Support Me

If you would like to support me Walking the Timeline of Britain, please click above to contribute towards the costs of the trip. (And I’ll send you a hug via the airwaves.)

In May 2017 I’ll start my 2,500-mile hike: Walking the Timeline of Britain. It will involve:

    • 5,625,000 steps
    • 2,500 miles
    • A tonne of mud
    • A bucketful of tears
    • Millions of smiles
    • And as much money as I can raise

You can’t help with the mud. Or the mileage. But you can help with the money raised (and therefore increase the smiles and reduce the tears). My sponsors Osprey Packs and Cotswold Outdoor have donated some great kit but I still need to buy more, and live (albeit in a tent) for 10 months.

Any money above my costs will go directly to villagers in Thulo Shafru, Nepal, whose village was razed to the ground by the 2015 earthquake. Unfortunately, they are still picking up the pieces. My guide and the rest of his village welcomed me with open arms when I was there and I’d like to help them get back on their feet.

  • If you are a business and would like to contribute towards keeping me on the move, your logo or a link to your website will appear on my Sponsors’ Page.
  • If you are friends, family or members of the public and would like the money to go to the villagers directly (and not to fund the trip), simply write ‘CHARITY’ when prompted for your name or message.
  • Please be aware that GoFundMe takes around 8% per donation. Offline donations are equally as welcome. For more information, please contact me at or on Facebook.
